Over the past 17 years, we’ve grown into Oregon’s largest independent restoration company, with more than 100 employees and offices in Portland, Bend, and Eugene.
We’re known for our highly trained teams, coordinated service, and commitment to both residential and commercial clients. After 17 years of responding to issues that often began with plumbing failures, we saw the need for a plumbing company built on the same principles. That’s why we launched On The Way Plumbing.

A lifelong Oregonian, Ryan Gilyeat brings over 25 years of experience in the restoration and plumbing industries. In 2008, he founded Oregon Restoration, focusing on high-quality restoration services and fostering a supportive workplace culture. Recognizing the need for expert plumbing services, Ryan established On The Way Plumbing to provide top-tier plumbing solutions to the Portland community. His extensive expertise ensures that On The Way Plumbing delivers reliable and efficient services to every client.
Lourdes Zazueta
Chief Financial Officer
Lourdes Zazueta serves as the Director of Finance and Human Resources at Oregon Restoration, where she plays a pivotal role in aligning financial stability with the company's mission-driven objectives. Her strategic oversight has been instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture and steering the company toward sustainable growth. In recognition of her leadership, Lourdes, alongside President Ryan Gilyeat, was honored with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Director’s Award for Excellence in 2024, highlighting their significant contributions to the business and the community.
MArk Shaw
Senior Director of Business Development
Mark Shaw leads the development of new divisions at Oregon Restoration, including Archer’s Asbestos and On The Way Plumbing. With a background as a General Manager for a construction company and a large-loss insurance adjuster for Nationwide, Mark brings a rare 360-degree perspective to the restoration and repair process. Mark’s leadership is instrumental in scaling Oregon Restoration’s services while maintaining the company’s core values: transparency, empathy, and excellence.

Michael Barrow, a native of Oregon City, brings over three decades of plumbing experience to On The Way Plumbing. Since beginning his career in 1991, Michael has honed his skills across various esteemed plumbing firms in Portland. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to successfully operate his own plumbing company for 12 years, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
